If people see this a second time, I apologize; however my original post (And several others) is no longer visible. I mentioned the accuracy of the well-written obituary.
My thoughts are also that we cherished a man whose balance between family, profession and community service were quite common back in the day. The lack of spotlight as his wife acted in Tri-Town Theater and served as teacher and principal at Sidney schools were commendable. Yet with United Way and other civic pursuits, he made a real difference.
My sincere condolences to the Wilklow family. Our community could benefit from many more like Mr. Wilklow.

Ted was very active in the Sidney community. I had the opportunity to serve on the United Way board and the Sidney IDA with Ted. He was very proactive and forward thinking. He will be missed by all. My prayers are with Marlene and her family.

Marlene and family-
I was shocked to read of Ted's passing. I had just read about your induction to Sidney's Hall of Fame. That brought about so many memories of babysitting for the "boys", and visits to the old homestead, and camp. Mom and Dad just loved to have you visit. You both have such a special place in my heart. My condolences to you all

Ted was always positive force in our pickle ball games. Neither one of us kept score for it was part of our DNA, being Mechanical Engineers.Ok we did like numbers but really just out for a good game no matter who won. He will be watching our games and giving us the insight of how to have fun. Condolences to all his family.

Dear Marlene and family,
We are still trying to accept your news of Ted’s passing. Paul was in total disbelief when I gave him the sad news. We are so sorry for your loss , your family’s loss and for losing a dear friend to both of us. We four had so many fun times together doing many different things from concerts to ushering baseball in Cooperstown. The wonderful memories you and Ted made together will help to lift and carry you through this most difficult time.
Please know that you are being kept in thought and prayer. We are counting on a visit from you when we are able to travel again.
Sending love and hugs.
Judy and Paul

I will always remember Ted fondly. The Dunham Street "family" has gained another angel from a time when a neighborhood was more than just a collection of houses - it was truely a family. The neighborhood clam bakes and other get-togethers are great memories. To Marlene and the family - my thoughts are with you at this moment
