To Amber Constable’s family, especially Makayla:
My heart is broken hearing the news of Amber’s passing. She was a student in my PE class and her daughter, Makayla was, as well. I remember Amber’s kind soul and her beautiful smile. Both characteristics I saw in her lovely daughter years later. I’m sending you my thoughts and strength.

Amber and I met when I started working at speedway.. little did I know she would become a huge part of my life. Amber became one of my best friends so soon. Even after I left speedway amber remained one of my best friends. Not a day went by that we didn’t talk, and I cherished dearly the times we spent together. When she moved back to oneonta from Worcester after having the baby, I would make it an effort to see her once a week just so she had the peace of knowing that she wasn’t as alone as she felt.. Tuesday April 28th I picked her and Brentley up and we went and hung out, we went shopping at Walmart so she could get things she needed and I as well. We then went to Burger King for dinner through the drive thru.. I dropped amber and Brentley off at 855, and we made plans to hang out on Wednesday.. I messaged and called her all day Wednesday and when she didn’t answer I didn’t think anything about it I just thought her and the baby were having a bad day.... but even still she would have messaged me... the last thing amber said to me was “I love you hun and I’ll see you tomorrow “ little did we know... tomorrow never came for such a beautiful and wonderful soul.. I love and miss you dearly Amber.. and every waking day I make a note to not blame myself.. but every day I fail at it.... as I was the last person that was with you... I wish I didn’t drop you off that night and took you home with me and then you would still be here.... rest easy my beautiful amazing best friend who is now a beautiful angel. I will always cherish our memories and will always pray for the babies. And family.
