We first met the Alcott family in the early 70's when they cottaged at Lower Beverly Lake Park every summer and this grew into almost a 50 year friendship between our families. Freida the matriach was always caring and fair although when we were little we did not always see that and loved us Hoy children as if we were her own ....She will be sorely missed but now she and Ed are together with my mom and dad and I am sure they are reminiscing ..She will also be remembered for bringing us the good Hershey chocolate for our smores....
