I’m so very very sad about Ed’s passing. It’s been awhile since I’ve seen you guys. I had some memorable (to say the least) adventures with Ed. He was so kind and fun. A couple adventures were, skiing and of course February was always redneck fishing derby at Tupper Lake. My condolences to all. Love, Sue

I am very sorry and sad to hear of Ed's passing. Melody and Ed took me into their family many years ago as a foster child and cared for me out of the kindness of their hearts. I will always be grateful for their generosity and the sacrifices they made to give me opportunities and experiences I wouldn't have otherwise had. Most of all I am thankful for the love and encouragement they gave me unconditionally and the wonderful memories I have of my time with all of them.
Melody, Heather Heidi and Hayle, my love and heartfelt sympathies to you and all of your family. I will always remember Ed as a kind, caring and smart man and I know he will be missed by all who knew him.

My sincere condolences to Ed's family and friends. Even though I have been a neighbor for the past 23 years, I generally only ran into Ed during hunting season. He and his father were kind enough to allow me to hunt on there land, as it directly bordered my comparatively small 21 acres. Ed always treated me kindly, and always had time for conversation. I gathered from our conversations that we both had a common interest, not only in hunting, but in life in general, and in all it had to offer. Nature has a way of making one aware of the gifts we have been given, and I believe that Ed may have felt that also. May he rest in peace.

Ed, his wife Melody, and I graduated from MUCS in the Class of 1968. Ed and I were the recipients that year of the NYS Regents Scholarships. We remarked to each other at our graduation that we were the only two who weren't crying! I am very sorry to hear of his passing, and extend my heartfelt condolences to Melody and the rest of Ed's extended family.
